HomeMy WebLinkAboutText File ReportNCI% 11uf G1 City of Miami Text File Report City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.rniamigov.corn File ID: 06-00880 Enactment #: R-06-0406 Version: 2 Type: Resolution Introduced: 5/15/06 Status: Passed Enactment Date: 6/22/06 Controlling Body: Office of the City Clerk A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT MATCHING GRANT FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000, FROM THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES, DIVISION OF FORESTRY, AS PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED FOR GRANT SUBMISSION BY RESOLUTION NO. 05-00403, ADOPTED JUNE 23, 2005, AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS TO THE GENERAL FUND -NON DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNT NO. 001000.921002.6.930; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE BID OF SFM SERVICES/TECHNO, JOINT VENTURE, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $172,475, FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "LITTLE HAITI GRANT -PLANTING PROJECT, B-30260," FOR A ONE-YEAR PERIOD; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND -NON DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNT NO. 001000.921002.6.930, IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000, TRANSFERRED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT NO. 001000.311003.6.340, THE AMOUNT OF $18,750, IN MATCHING FUNDS FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT NO. 001000.311003.6.340, AND THE AMOUNT OF $78,725, FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT NO. 00I000.3102.6.340; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH SAID FIRM, FOR SAID PURPOSE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized{ 1 } to accept matching grant funds, in the amount of $75,000, from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Forestry, as previously authorized for grant submission by Resolution No. 05-00403, adopted June 23, 2005, and to appropriate said funds to the General Fund -Non Departmental Account No. 001000.921002.6.930. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized(1) to accept the bid of SFM Services/Techno, Joint Venture, in the total amount of $172,475, for the project entitled "Little Haiti Grant -Planting Project, B-30260," for a one-year period, with funds allocated from the General Fund -Non Departmental Account No. 001000.921002.6.930, in the amount of $75,000, transferred to the Public Works General Fund Account No. 001000.311003.6.340, the amount of $18,750, in matching funds from the Public Works General Fund Account No. 001000.311003.6.340, and the amount of $78,725, from the Public Works General Fund Account No. 001000.3102.6.340. Section 3.
