HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 07-01104 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF OFF-STREET PARKING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2006 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2007, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,712,454, EXCLUDING DEPRECIATION, TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF THE GUSMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS AND THE OLYMPIA BUILDING. WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 8435, adopted July 31, 1975, the City Commission authorized the City of Miami's Department of Off -Street Parking Board to administer the facility now known as the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Office Building; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Office Building Operating Budget for Fiscal 2006-2007, be amended from an amount of $1,662,454 to $1,712,454; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Annual Budget of the Department of Off -Street Parking for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2006 and ending September 30, 2007, in the amount of $1,712,454, excluding depreciation, to provide for the operation of the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Building, is amended, as attached and incorporated. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORGEERNANDEZ CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar day from the date it was passed and adopted.
