Dear Rev. Smith:
On August 8, 2006, the contract for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
funds in the amount of $30,550 with Progressive Vision Community Development
Corporation, Inc. for Elderly Services was personally given to Mr. Murkel Coppins. The
Department has made several attempts to contact you or Mr. Coppins (leaving messages
with your agency staff) since we have not yet received the contract signed by your
agency.
As per Article 3.2 of your contract, "the effective date of this agreement shall be the latter
of October 1, 2006 or the date that the City Clerk attests the signature of the City
Manager"; therefore, your agency may not be reimbursed for services provided before the
effective date.
The signed contract must be submitted to the Department together with the required
documentation before the agreement can be routed for execution by the City.
