HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 07-01067 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES, AWARDED UNDER STATE OF FLORIDA CONTRACT NO. 973-001-06-1, EFFECTIVE UNTIL MAY 31, 2009, AWARDED TO VARIOUS VENDORS AS LISTED ON "ATTACHMENT 1," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, SUBJECT TO EXTENSIONS OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO, 04-0562, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 9, 2004, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND DEPARTMENTS CITYWIDE, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. WHEREAS, on September 9, 2004, the Miami City Commission adopted Resolution No. 04-0562, as amended, for the acquisition of information technology project management services, systems integration services, computer programming services, systems analysis services, data base management services, technical support services, and other technical consulting services, from various Information Technology Consultant Services vendors, awarded under various State of Florida Contracts, on an as -needed contract basis, subject to any extensions, renewals, and replacement contracts by the State of Florida; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to add to the above listed services the acquisition of Management Consultant Services awarded under State of Florida Contract No. 973-001-06-1, effective until May 31, 2009, subject to extensions or replacement contracts by the State of Florida, in order to procure complementary financial management systems services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The acquisition of management consultant services, awarded under State of Florida Contract No. 973-001-06-1, effective until May 31, 2009 awarded to various vendors as listed on "Attachment 1", attached and incorporated, subject to extensions or replacement contracts by the State of Florida, is authorized, for use the Department of Information Technology and departments Citywide, subject to budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 3.
