A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED JULY 5, 2007, FROM MOTOROLA, INC., PURSUANT TO INVITATION
FOR BIDS NO. 28069, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MOBILE COMMUNICATION
SYSTEM, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE -RESCUE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $929,382; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE URBAN AREA SECURITY
INITIATIVE (UASI) FISCAL YEAR 2005, ACCOUNT CODE NO.
11000.181000.664000.0000.00000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received July 5, 2007, from Motorola, Inc., pursuant to Invitation for Bids No.
28069, determined to be responsive and responsible, for the purchase of a Mobile Communication
System, for the Department of Fire -Rescue, in an amount not to exceed $929,382, is accepted, with
funds allocated from The Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Fiscal Year 2005, Account Code No.
11000.181000.664000.0000.00000.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
s{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
