A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE CITY OF MIAMI'S ("CITY") ANNUAL ACTION PLAN ("PLAN")
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE CITY'S PLAN FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008, TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 04-0374, adopted June 10, 2004, the City Commission
approved the City of Miami's ("City") Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2004-2009; and
WHEREAS, per the Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR 91.220, all entitlement jurisdictions are
required to submit an Annual Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development ("U.S. HUD") for the purpose of carrying out its long term strategic plan; and
WHEREAS, the City's Annual Action Plan ("Plan") for Fiscal Year 2007-2008, sets forth the overall
goals and objectives of the City's Consolidated Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this. Section.
Section 2. The City's Plan for Fiscal Year 2007-2008, attached and incorporated, is approved.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized{1} to submit the City's Plan for Fiscal. Year 2007-2008,
to U.S. HUD for review and approval.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
