Second Avenue Miami, Florida 33130 Re: Letter of Intent Douglas Gardens Holding Corp., Inc., (the "Client") Those properties more specifically described in Exhibit "A" (the "Properties") Dear Ms. Fernandez: Douglas Gardens Holding Corp., Inc., is the real estate property holding company of the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital, which today is the largest, most comprehensive center for geriatric care, programs and services in the Southeast United States, employing 1,500 individual, making the home one of the largest single employers in the area. On behalf of our client, we hereby submit a public hearing application for an amendment to the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan and a public hearing application for an amendment to the Zoning Atlas and/or Overlay District (collectively, the "Applications") in connection with the Properties. The purpose of these Applications is to unify the subject Properties under the same land use and zoning designations which would allow for the uses consistent with the current activities of the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital. Upon review of the Applications, please note that said Applications cover an entire block with the exception of Lot 10. Our client currently has Lot 10 under contract, and once title is transferred to our client, we will submit the separate required applications, consistent with the Applications before you today.
