He has a thorough understanding of all aspects of parking structure planning, design, and construction. Mr. Ebert specializes in developing functional design layouts for complex and mixed - use parking facilities. He has managed successful projects for the Miami Parking Authority, the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation (Washington, DC), and a variety of other corporate, governmental, transit, and healthcare clients. He participated as a peer reviewer and quality control specialist on over 200 parking structure projects. RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE Miami Courthouse Garage Miami, FL This 850 space, mixed -use facility, adjacent to the new Federal Courthouse in downtown Miami, will house two retail spaces on the ground floor, and more than 30,000 square feet of office space, including the Miami Parking Authority's administrative offices. Union Station Parking Expansion Washington, DC TimHaahs designed the expansion, renovation, and beautification of the parking garage serving historic Union Station. The expansion added 1000 spaces on five levels of cast -in -place, post -tensioned concrete, increasing the garage capacity to 2,500 spaces. Hamilton Square at the University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia, PA This mixed -use parking garage revitalized an entire downtown corridor, creating a "people place" for the University of Pennsylvania campus. The grade level features a supermarket to serve students and residents. It also provides 800 parking spaces, for the downtown area. City of Naples Public Parking Facility Naples, FL This four tier, 341 space facility provided much needed parking to employees and customers of the exclusive Fifth Avenue South shopping area, in addition to supporting the Naples Players Theater located directly adjacent to the facility. Children's Medical Center Dayton, OH The 400 space Children's Medical Center parking garage serves both patients and visitors, providing much needed parking on the hospital campus. Norristown Transportation Center Norristown, PA TimHaahs designed the new intermodal facility, which includes a 522 space garage and bus terminal. The new facility will allow for the expansion of SEPTA bus and rail transit to the area. _ 5 s. z _ / ., SUBd.. ITEP2,, PUE 7-24-407 )R TimHaa ARCNR[CTS Kent County Courthouse Parking Garage Warwick, RI This attractive 531 space garage serves the adjacent courthouse complex. Security was a critical consideration in the design, and a separate judges' entrance provides access to 27 designated spaces requiring special security considerations. Merck & Company (Four Parking Structures) Rahway, NJ; West Point, PA TimHaahs provided design services for four parking structures for Merck & Company. The projects included two eight floor structures with 1,000 spaces each, located in Rahway, NJ, as well as two structures on the West Point, PA campus which included approximately 1,850 spaces each, as well as an elevated pedestrian bridge connecting to in -plant access for Merck employees. Amtrak Intermodal Gateway Structure Philadelphia, PA The Amtrak 30th Street Station parking garage, with 1,525 spaces, accommodates the parking demands of 4 million patrons annually. To accommodate these parking demands as well as a proposed high-rise office building, TimHaahs designed a 1525 space parking facility adjacent to the station. Bearing on steel H-piles straddling numerous on -grade utilities and tunnels, the all -precast concrete ten tier garage has an overhead pedestrian bridge linking the garage elevator core to the station. College of New Jersey, Armstrong Hall Ewing, NJ The Armstrong Hall Parking garage provided 142 new parking spaces, to serve increasing enrollment. The architecture blends with the campus, and complements the surrounding environment of dense woods and brick buildings. T. Rowe Price Corporate Campus Owings Mill, MD TimHaahs designed 2 garages to serve the corporate headquarters. The campus environment and aesthetics of the buildings were critically important. The garages were designed and built into a hillside, reducing their presence and creating pedestrian scale. University Avenue Philadelphia, PA TimHaahs designed this 1,983 space parking structure is located on a site considered to be a major gateway to the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. The structure around existing rail lines, resulted in the attractive curvilinear facade. MBNA Southern Regional Headquarters Phase 1I Parking Garage Boca Raton, FL The 499 space employee garage blends into the campus, and features an attractive facade. University of Pennsylvania Site Analysis Philadelphia, PA TimHaahs reviewed and analyzed three prospective sites for the development of a 1,000 space parking structure to serve the University. The chosen options consisted of horizontal expansion to an existing parking structure, and offered the most convenience to pedestrians and motorists. TimHaa eNG4 EAT: AACNfIFCTS Temple University (Four Projects) Philadelphia, PA TimHaahs has performed a wide range of services for Temple University. In addition to developing a conceptual parking structure layout for a 1500 space site, TimHaahs provided prime design services for the 790 space Carlisle Parking Structure on an extremely tight urban site, as well as Liacouras Center Entertainment and Parking Complex, a multi -purpose convocation center, supported by a state-of-the-art parking structure directly adjacent to the center, containing 1,218 spaces. TimHaahs also designed a 1,450 space employee parking structure for Temple University, which encompasses an entire city block, and includes active and passive security features. The Pennsylvania State University Vertical/Horizontal Expansions State College, PA TimHaahs designed expansions to three major parking facilities on the campus to alleviate growing parking demand. The structures serve the increasing community of staff, students, and visitors, as well as the expansion of the campus infrastructure. Berks Area Reading Transportation Authority Park-n-Transit Facility Reading, PA This 350 space Park-N-Transit facility complements the historic Franklin Street Station and in the future will accommodate the Schuylkill Valley Metrorail in Reading. Astrazeneca Parking Structure, North Campus Deck Wilmington, DE The Astrazeneca Pharmaceuticals parking structure will provide 750 employee parking spaces on four levels. This efficient, functional garage blends into the overall campus and surrounding buildings. Bristol-Myers Squibb Parking Structure Hopewell, NJ This five story, precast parking structure provides 1,622 spaces for BMS employees. This neighbor -friendly facility is comprised of brick in -fill precast panels and glass, with a precast flat roof, and looks like an office building, blending in with the campus.
