The Children's Trust, The City of Miami, and Miami-Datic County exempting the Children's trust from having to contribute its revenue to the CRA. Background Information: The Children's Trust (Trust) was established as a result of a county -wide reterendum by which it was authorized to impose a one-half mil tax levy againstall non-exempt real property in Miarni-Dadc County_ This levy applies to real property within the CRA areal;. Tn October of 2003 the County Commission established a policy that the county would not consider any matter concerning a CRA until the City shall first exempt the Trust ti-orn contributing its titillate from the CRA tax increment fund (TIF). The attached resolution authorizes the CRA to refund that portion of the 'TIP generated to the Trust for use within the CRA areas. Budget 'rime et Anjalvsis Is this item related to revenue?
