Further authorizing the City Manager to execute said assigned and amended PSA, Background Information: The existing PSA is between Star HRG, a division of The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company and the City of Miami. Connecticut General Life Insurance Company, a state of Connecticut corporation, reinsured and assumed by novation certain group health insurance policies issued by The MEGA Life & Health Insurance Company, an Oklahoma corporation, effective January 1, 2007, including the health insurance policy in effect for the City's Group Health Benefits for Part Time/Temporary employees. The original PSA also erroneously reflected the optional periods. This item respectfully request for the City Commission to authorize the assignment, amendment and for the City Manager to execute said PSA.
