CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING OBSERVATION SERVICES FOR MISCELLANEOUS CAPITAL PROJECTS, PURSUANT TO REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 03-04-131, AS STATED HEREIN, TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURE LIMITS FOR EACH, TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PROJECTS FOR WHICH EACH FIRM WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $600,000, EACH, INCREASING THE EXPENDITURE LIMIT UNDER EACH CONTRACT FROM $750,000 TO $1,350,000; ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR WORK ASSIGNMENTS AS NEEDED, FROM THE APPROPRIATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1} to execute Amendments, in substantially the attached form, to increase authorized expenditure limits for each of the nine firms utilized for miscellaneous capital projects, pursuant to RFQ No. 03-04-131, as follows: Bermello, Ajamil & Partners; Corzo, City of Miami Page 2 of 3 Printed On: 7/6/2007 File Number. 07-00818 Castella, Carvallo, Thomopson, & Salman; GBF Engineering, Inc.; Ketih and Schnars, P.A.; Marlin Engineering, Inc.; Metric Engineering, Inc.; Nova Consulting, Inc.; Parsons, Brinkerhoff Construction Services, Inc.; to increase the number of Project for which each firm will continue to provide construction engineering observation services t, in an amount not to exceed $600,000, for each firm, increasing the expenditure limit under each contract from $750,000 to $1,350,000, with funds allocated for work assignments as needed, from the appropriate capital improvement projects, subject to budgetary approval=e-time of need.
