HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Public HearingCITY OF M1AMI NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on July 10, 2007, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Florida, for the purpose of considering the following resolution: A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, by a four- fifths (4/5ths) affirmative vote, after public hearing, pursuant to Section 2-614 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), waiving the conflict of interest provisions contained in Section 2-612 of the City Code, for the purposes of the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust to enter into a grant agreement with Veterans Employment Transition Services, Inc., for job recruiting and placement for residents of the Liberty City/Model City area. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning this item. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5360 (Voice) no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days prior to the proceeding.
