Background Information: Filbon S.A. is staging an International Soccer Match between the National Team of Haiti vs, Boca Juniors, Argentinean Club, on July 28, 2007 at the Miami Orange Bowl. Similar to previous events staged at the Orange Bowl, they are requesting that the basic Use Fee be capped at $10,000 versus 10% of gross ticket sales. They shall be responsible for paying all other necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with the event. The City expects the net revenues to the City to be in excess of $70,000 which includes revenues from the Use Fee, ticket surcharge, concessions and parking. Additionally, the event is expected to provide a positive economic impact to the community as a result of international travel, hotel occupancy, restaurants and commerce. Pase 2 of 2
