Subject: A resolution accepting the proposed plat of ANCHORAGE REPLAT, which is located along
Anchorage Way southeasterly of Main Highway.
Purpose of Item:
The purpose is for the City Commission to adopt a resolution accepting the plat of ANCHORAGE
REPLAT and approving recording the same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Background Information:
The Department of Public Works has reviewed this plat and has determined that it is now in order for
acceptance by the City Commission. The specific intent of this Plat is to close and vacate a 6-foot
wide utility easement in order to eliminate encroachments with the proposed new construction (a
single family house with a two car garage and courtyard) and to provide for the dedication of
additional private right-of-way for the relocation of the existing guardhouse facility. The proposed
record plat entitled ANCHORAGE REPLAT is a replat of the property described in the attached
Legal Description. The area platted consists of an individual lot containing approximately 15,520
square feet and a private road containing approximately 32,496t square feet. It is zoned R-1, SD-18.
