NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on June 14, 2007 for the purpose of
waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed bids for the acquisition of the unique services of the
"Scavenger 2000 Decontamination Boat" from Water Management Technologies, Inc. located at
10400 N.W. 33 Street, Suite 200, Miami, Florida 33172 for surface cleaning of the City's
waterfront, for the City of Miami, for an annual contract of $200,000, with option to renew for two
(2) additional year (1) periods. Funding has been secured in the annual amount of $200,000 from
the Public Works Department General Fund Account Number 00001.208000.534000.0000.00000.
This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-85 (a) of the City Code, of the City of
Miami, Florida, as amended, and requires a 4/5ths affirmative vote of the Miami City Commission
after a duly advertised public hearing. The recommendations and finding to be considered in this
matter are set forth in the proposed resolution and in this Code Section, which are deemed to be
incorporated by reference herein and are available as public records from the City of Miami. The
Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting
of June 14, 2007, commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers located at City
Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida.

All interested persons are Invited to appear and may be heard concerning the proposed sole
source determination. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission
with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based.
