The Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange Program's focus is on law enforcement
executive development and on international cooperation. GILEE's extensive community
partnerships provide tangible benefits to the law enforcement community, to corporate security
officers, to the business community and the community at large.
Since it's inception in 1992, the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE)
program has carried out 88 programs for 431 law enforcement executives from around the nation
and the world. GILEE has also provided 18 special briefings, seminars workshops and
conferences on issues related to homeland security and public safety for law enforcement
officials.
The Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange Program is an award -winning program
that relies on financial support from private sources (corporations, associations, foundations,
individuals, and GILEE graduations) and from law enforcement agencies, as well as technical and
logistical support from public organizations, civic associations and government sources.
