Subject: El Portal Annexation
Purpose of Item:
This is an approval Resolution for El Portal's annexation application, for a piece of property in
unicorporated Miami -Dade County that abuts the City of Miami. The property is a two block area on
Northeast 83rd Street, just east of the Little River.
Background Information:
Under Section 20-3 (E) of the Miami -Dade County Code, the Village of El Portal is in need of support
from the City of Miami in the form of an approved resolution as part of El Portal's annexation
application to the County.
