A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,000, FOR THE
PRO -IMMIGRATION REFORM EVENT BEING HELD AT THE ORANGE BOWL, BY
THE HISPANIC COALITION, ON MAY 1, 2007; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS, FROM
THE DISTRICT 4 SPECIAL EVENTS NON -DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNT CODE
00001.980000.548000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The allocation of funds, in an amount not to exceed $1,000, for the pro -immigration
reform event being held at the Orange Bowl, by the Hispanic Coalition, on May 1, 2007, is authorized,
with funds allocated from the District 4 Special Events Non -Departmental Account, Account Code
00001.980000.548000.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
