Subject: Resolution accepting funds received from Miami -Dade County Building Better Communities
General Obligation Bond ("GOB") in the total amount of $7,000,000 for the capital improvements
project Orange Bowl Redevelopment A/E Services and Construction Project, B-30153B.
Purpose of Item:
To authorize the City Manager to accept funds from the GOB in the total amount of $7,000,000 for
Orange Bowl Redevelopment A/E Services and Construction Project, B-30153B, also known as
Miami -Dade County GOB Project - 50 Site Location #70629.
Background Information:
The funds are allocated from the GOB over The City received a commitment of funds from the GOB
in the total amount of $50,000,000 for the Orange Bowl Redevelopment A/E/ Services and
Construction Project, B-30153B.The funds are allocated over several funding cycles and the County
requires a separate agreement for each project during each funding cycle. This resolution accepts
funds allocated for the first cycle in the amount of $7,000,000. Funds will be appropriated by a
separate resolution.
