Hernandez, P.E., City Manager City of Miami 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133-5595 Re: Interlocal Agreement for FEMA Funded Stormwater Drainage Projects between the City of Miami (City) and Miami -Dade County (County). Dear Mr. Hernandez: On May 12, 2006, this Department responded to the City's April 5, 2006 correspondence related to the FEMA Funded Stormwater Drainage Projects. To date, we have not received a response from the City. Our initial transmission of the draft interiocai Agreement between the County and the City was on December 8, 2004. The FEMA Funded Project on the Comfort Canal was completed last year (2005), after which this Department provided a final cost update to the City on December 12, 2005. It is important that we move forward to complete the Agreement so that the County may recoup the funds it has already spent on the City's behalf, under the Local Share of this project. We look forward to finalizing the Agreement, and would like to schedule, at your earliest convenience, a meeting with you and your staff to discuss any issues the City may have. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at (305) 372-6529.
