OF FINANCIAL SERVICES Purpose of Item: AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000, FROM THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL SERVICES — MY SAFE FLORIDA HOME PROGRAM TO THE CITY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO ASSIST HOMEOWNERS' WITH DAMAGES AND LOSSES CAUSED BY THE HURRICANES AND TO STABILIZE HOMEOWNERS' INSURANCE PREMIUMS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, TO IMPLEMENT THE ACCEPTANCE OF SAID FUNDS. Background Information: The administration recommends the acceptance of funds in the amount of $500,000 from the Florida Department of Financial Services- My Safe Florida Home Program. Said funds will be utilized to assist homeowners' with damages and losses caused by the hurricanes and to stabilize homeowners' insurance premium. YES is this item related to revenue?
