Subject: A resolution directing the City Manager to develop an Ordinance for establishing a water
conservation program.
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the City of Miami Commission directing the City Manager to develop an ordinance
establishing a water conservation program. This program will serve to protect the water resources of
the City of Miami.
Background Information:
It has been determined that we have an urgent need to conserve our potable water in South Florida.
This resolution will direct the City Manager to develop an Ordinance to establish a Water
Conservation Program. This Ordinance will be developed by City staff within 60 days.
