Subject: A resolution urging the Governor and members of the Florida Legislature to Support
environmental issues.
Purpose of Item:
This resolution establishes environmental policies and procedures for the City of Miami. It further
directs the City Clerk to transit a copy of said resolution to certain designated officials.
Background Information:
The City of Miami has in the last five (5) years launched an aggressive environmental program. This
resolution urges the Governor and Members of the Florida Legislature to support its efforts.
