Subject: A resolution urging the President to support local energy programs
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the City of Miami Commission urging the President and the United States Congress to
support Local Energy Efficiency Programs, energy conservation, renewable energy and Green
Building Programs.
Background Information:
The City of Miami, as well as many of the nation's cities are recognizing the value of local energy
programs and is urging the President to support its efforts.
