Background Information: This is a Revocable License Agreement between the City of Miami and Southwest Social Services Program, Inc., a Florida not -for -profit corporation ("Licensee"). Licensee operates services for the elderly, including a successful lunch program serving City residents in the Flagami area. The City of Miami originally issued on January 12, 1987 a revocable permit for twenty (20) years, providing for use of 5,455 square feet of space in the northeasterly portion of Flagami Park. In 1993, the City Commission passed Resolution 93-123, amending the Licensee's permit to clarify that the use area included three parcels totaling 20,719 square feet of Flagami Park. The City is hereby renewing the revocable permit in the form of a Revocable License Agreement which will provide for a ten (10) year use period commencing January 12, 2007, but may terminate earlier on either cancellation by Licensee or revocation by the City. It reconfirms a use area of 20,719 square feet. The use fee will be one -dollar ($1) annually. The Agreement may be revoked by the City Manager. Paee 2 of 2
