The Department of Parks and Recreations wishes to apply for said grant to secure funding for a mini -hammock at Kennedy Park. Said Mini -Hammock will be used for educational purposes for all citizens of the City of Miami and will include trails and signage discussing the various vegetation found in a tropical hammock. Said grant funding requires a 50% match of the program cost of $50,000, or $25,000 which will be allocated from in -kind volunteer services and salaries.
