HomeMy WebLinkAboutAnalysisANALYSIS FOR VARIANCES 4899 SW 8TH STREET FILE NO: 06-00620v Pursuant to Section 401 of Ordinance 11000, as amended, The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, the subject proposal has been reviewed for Variances as follows; Variance for front yard: Required - 7'-6" Proposed - 3'-11" Request to waive - 3'- 7" The following findings have been made: • It is found that the variance requested is a result of the applicant trying to build more than what the existing envelope allows. • It is found that since this proposal is new construction, it should be designed to comply with all zoning requirements. • It is found that by developing the lot in the manner reflected, the property owner will derive undue benefit under the Zoning Ordinance. • It is found that there is no hardship to justify the requested setbacks variance. Based on these findings, the Planning Department is recommending denial of the application as presented.
