A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION EXTENDING THE HOURS
OF SALE FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE
PREMISES OF THE PAWN SHOP LOUNGE, LOCATED AT 1222 NORTHEAST
2ND AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AND AT KARU & Y RESTAURANT, LOCATED
AT 71 NORTHWEST 14 STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO ACCOMMODATE TWO
VENUES ASSOCIATED WITH THE WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE, ON
TUESDAY, MARCH 20, 2007, FROM 5:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. THROUGH SUNDAY,
MARCH 25, 2007, FROM 5:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M., PURSUANT TO CHAPTER
4/ARTICLE 1/SECTION 4-3, ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES/IN
GENERAL/HOURS DURING WHICH SALES ALLOWED; SUNDAY SALES."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The hours of sale for alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises of two
venues associated with the Winter Music Conference, at The Pawn Shop Lounge, located at 1222
Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, and at Karu & Y Restaurant, located at 71 Northwest 14
Street, Miami, Florida, are extended from Monday, March 20, 2007, through Sunday, March 25,
2007, from 5:00 am-7:00 A.M., pursuant to Chapter 4/Article 1/Section 4-3, entitled "Alcoholic
Beverages/In General/Hours during which sales allowed; Sunday sales."
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
