The Police Department is requesting a sole source finding for the purchase of ninety-seven (97)
TASERS, Style No. X26, Model 26012, and related equipment, for an amount not to exceed
$80,000. Please take the steps necessary to verify that TASER international, Inc., located at
17800 North 85th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, is the sole source for the provision of the TASER,
Style No. X26, Model 26012, and related equipment. Funding is to be provided by the Police
General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 00001.191507.664000.0000.
The Police Department has a need for tasers to continue equipping new hires, and to continue
the Department's effort in reducing injuries to officers and subjects.
