Said Agreement outlines the duties and responsibilities of the county and the city with respect to an urban ecosystem analysis. It further authorizes the payment of $15,732 from the Tree Trust Fund to the County for the City's portion of an Urban Ecosystem analysis contracted by the County to American Forests. Background Information: The city is concerned that recent losses in tree cover due to hurricanes and citrus canker have had a negative impact on the green infrastructure. Both the City and the County wish to facilitate an ecosystem analysis to develop a series of green infrastructure data layers, American Forests has been determined by the county as a sole source for such analysis and whereas the state is providing $60,000 to offset the cost ($158,000) of this countywide analysis.
