A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION GRANTING THE REQUEST
OF MR. IVAN E. HERNANDEZ-DIAZ, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE CUBAN
MUNICIPALITIES FAIR CORPORATION, FORA WAIVER OF THE TWO EVENTS
PER YEAR, PER SITE, LIMITATION ON TEMPORARY EVENTS FOR THE
FLAGLER DOG TRACK PROPERTY LOCATED AT 450 NORTHWEST 37TH
AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, TO ALLOW THE CUBAN MUNICIPALITIES FAIR,
SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE FROM MARCH 29, 2007 THROUGH APRIL 1,
2007, TO OCCUR ON THE PREMISES OF THE PARKING LOT ADJACENT TO
THE FLAGLER DOG TRACK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. The request of Mr. Ivan E. Hernandez -Diaz, Executive Director of the Cuban
Municipalities Fair Corporation, for a waiver of the two events per year, per site, limitation on
temporary events for the Flagler Dog Track property located at 450 Northwest 37th Avenue, Miami,
Florida, is granted, to allow the Cuban Municipalities Fair, scheduled to take place from March 29,
2007 through April 1, 2007, to occur on the premises of the parking lot adjacent to the Flagler Dog
Track.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
