HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-07-0026City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-07-0026 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 06-02309 Final Action Date: 1/11/2007 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION WAIVING THE CITY OF MIAMI FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE "SUPER MOTOR FEST 2007," TO BE HELD ON JANUARY 20 AND JANUARY 21, 2007, AT THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM, WITH THE PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT, BENEFITING THE CITY OF MIAMI POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE AND THE BETTER WAY OF MIAMI. BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Miami City Commission waives the City of Miami fees associated with the "Super Motor Fest 2007," to be held on January 20 and January 21, 2007, at the Orange Bowl Stadium. Section 2. The proceeds from the event will benefit the City of Miami Police Athletic League and the Better Way of Miami. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
