On the 26th day of April 2007, the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, met at its
regular meeting place in City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, in regular
session. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Angel Gonzalez at 9:28 a.m.,
recessed at 12:00 p.m., reconvened at 2:58 p.m., and adjourned at 9:25 p.m.

PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS
1. Mayor Diaz presented a Salute and a City Plate to David Whitaker for the outstanding
work he has completed for the City of Miami in the tourism market through the Greater
Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau for the past 17 years.
2. Mayor Diaz presented a Proclamation to Jorge L. Fernandez in recognition of his 25
years in government service in the state of Florida, declaring April 26, 2007 "Jorge L.
Fernandez Day" in the City of Miami.
