Subject: Maintenance agreement for NW 20`I' Street sidewalk improvements, Project B-30328.
Purpose of Item:
A resolution of the Miami City Commission authorizing the City Manager to execute a maintenance agreement
with Miami -Dade County for the City of Miami ("City") to maintain certain capital improvements to the rights -
of -way within the sidewalk area of NW 20th St. from NW 23m Ave. to NW 24th Ave.
Background Information:
As part of the Street Improvements Project, B-30328, the City will be removing existing sidewalks and installing
wider decorative sidewalks in the area of NW 20th Street from NW 23`h1 Ave to NW 24th Ave.. The County Public
Works department owns the rights -of -way of these sidewalks and must approve the installation and requires
maintenance agreements as a condition of approval.
