Recently discussions were held with the Trust regarding the management of additional City -owned property adjacent to Bicentennial Park on a temporary basis until the park master plan is completed. On September 25, 2006, The Trust adopted by Resolution 06-033,5 to proceed with steps to assume temporary management of City -owned property adjacent to Bicentennial Park, commonly known as the FEC Slip. As a result, the City of Miami wishes to transfer temporary control of 10.5103 acres, more or less, of City -owned property located adjacent to Bicentennial Park (commonly known as the "FEC Slip"), to the Bayfront Park Management Trust so that it can take responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the property but the City reserves the right to rescind control of the FEC Slip at any time.
