Ordinance of the City of Miami, Article 4, Section 401, Schedule of District
Regulations, from C-2 Liberal Commercial to SD-6 Central Commercial -
Residential District.
Purpose: This will change the above property to SD-6 Central Commercial -Residential
District for the proposed Herald Square (Parcel 3) Major Use Special Permit.
Findings:
Planning Department: Recommended approval.

Notes: This item was continued from the Zoning Board hearing of April 10, 2006. The Planning
Advisory Board recommended denial due to the failure to obtain the required five
affirmative votes in favor of the Change of Land Use to the City Commission on May 17,
2006 by a vote of 4-3.
Zoning Board: Recommended denial to City Commission on May 8, 2006 by a vote of 4-2 by
virtue of the fact that Section 62-93 of the City Code requires five (5) favorable
votes for the approval of any item before the Zoning Board.
