A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY BUILDING
BETTER COMMUNITIES GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $2,023,000 FOR THE NORTHWEST STORM SEWER,
ENGLEWOOD STORM SEWER, AND GLENROYAL STORM SEWER CAPITAL
PROJECTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
RESPECTIVE PROJECT AGREEMENTS, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED
FORMS FOR SAID PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Department of Capital Improvements and Transportation received a commitment
of funds from the Miami -Dade County Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond ("GOB")
for the following capital projects in the following amounts: Northwest Storm Sewer, B-30014
($669,000), also known as Miami -Dade County GOB Project No. 304-70584; Englewood Storm Sewer,
B-30011($673,000), also known as Miami -Dade County GOB Project No. 304-70582 and Glenroyal
Storm, B-30008 ($681,000), also known as Miami -Dade County GOB Project No. 304-70580; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 06-0321, adopted May 25, 2006, authorized the City Manager to execute
agreements with Miami -Dade County to receive funds on a reimbursement basis in various amounts
for capital improvement projects funded by the Miami -Dade County Building Better Communities
general obligation bond; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution specifically authorizes the City Manager to accept funding for three
specific projects in the total amount of $2,023,000 which will be appropriated at a later date; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution also authorizes the City Manager to execute any required
documentation, including the attached, related to the receipt and administration of said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The funds received from the Miami -Dade County Building Better Communities general
obligation bond, in the total amount of $2,023,000 for the Northwest Storm Sever, Englewood Storm
Sewer, and Glenroyal Storm Sewer, capital projects, are accepted.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized{1} to execute the respective project agreements, in
substantially the attached forms for said purposes and any required documentation related to the
receipt and administration of said funds which will be appropriated at a later date.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
