Task 2 Soil excavation and disposal
PE1CO will provide the equipment, labor and materials necessary to excavate previously -
identified impacted soil, in accordance with the DERM-Approved Source Removal Plan. PEICO
will excavate to a depth of two -feet below the land surface: the excavated soil will be temporarily
stockpiled on -site both on and underneath impermeable plastic sheeting to ensure dust control
and prevent exposure. Excavated soli will be properly disposed by licensed waste disposal firm.
Task 3 Application of Engineering Control
PEICO will apply engineering controls in accordance with the DERM-Approved Source Removal
Plan. Specifically, in the excavated areas, PEICO will apply geotextile fabric and backflli with
two -feel of clean fill material followed by sod for soil stabilization. In areas where excavation to a
depth of two -feet is not feasible (i.e., in the vicinity of mature vegetation and the creek bank
wall) PEICO will grade 6 inches below land surface, apply clean fill provide the equipment, labor
and material to install concrete pavers to act as an approved engineering control.
Task 4 Preparation of Source Removal Report
PEICO will prepare a Source Removal Report for the site in accordance with Section 24-
11.1(2)(I)(3) of Chapter 24 of Code of Miami -Dade County. The report will describe the
methodology and results of the source removal, including conclusions and recommendations.

IV. SCHEDULE OF WORK —TIME OF PERFORMANCE
Within 7 business days of receipt of authorization to proceed, the outlined scope of services will
be initiated, from date of initiation the source removal field activities will be completed within
thirty days and a report of findings will be submitted to the City of Miami within twenty days after
completion of the source removal field activities.
V, COMPENSATION
Consultant shall perform the Work detailed in this Proposal for a Lump Sum fee of $99,977.70.
Said fee includes an allowance for Reimbursable Expenses required in connection with the
Work, which shall be established in an amount not to exceed $100,00. Said Reimbursable
Expenses shall be utilized in accordance with the Agreement Provisions and shall conform to
the limitations of Florida Statutes § 112.061.
