Purpose of Item: To authorize the City Manager to accept and appropriate funds from the GOB in the total amount of $550,000 and to amend the capital improvements projects appropriations Resolution No 05-0689, as amended to reflect the addition of these funds. Background Information: The City received a commitment of funds from the GOB including monies for the following capital projects: Old Miami High aka First Miami High ($300,000) and Dorsey Memorial Library 331_?. =� ($250,000). The funds are allocated from the GOB over one funding cycle; this resolution accepts and appropriates the funds allocated by the GOB for the total amount of, $550,000 for Old Miami High aka First Miami High and Dorsey Memorial Library. Resolution 06-0321, ad opt e d May 25 , 200 authorized the City Manager to execute any required documentation related to the receipt and administration of said funds.
