Re: 2006 Road Designations in the City of Miami
Dear Mr. Arriola:
Recently T sent you a letter concerning the honorary designation of several roads in the
City of Miami. Several of those roads were included in the 2006 transportation bill,
CS/SB 1350. That bill has since been vetoed. As a result, the designation no longer
exists and we do not have authority to install the honorary signs. Nor, do we need any
supporting resolutions for the following:
"Angel Manuel De La Portilla Way" - SW 12th Avenue between Coral Way and
SW 8th Street
"Dennis Pastrana Avenue" - NW 21st Avenue between NW 20th Street and NW
23rd Street
"Luis Conte Aguero Way" - 27th Avenue between Coral Way and SW 8th Street
"Rafael Diaz Balart Road" - LeJeune Road/SW 42nd Avenue between Flagler
Street and SW 8th Street
