State Road 933 (SW 12th Avenue) between Coral Way and SW 8th Street is designated as "Angel Manuel De La Portilla Way." 2. State Road 9 (SW 27th Avenue) between Coral Way and SW 8th Street is designated as "Luis Conte Aguero Way." 3. State Road 953 (LeJeune Road/SW 421'd Avenue) between Flagler Street and SW 8th Street is designated as "Rafael Diaz Balart Road." 4. State Road 7/US441 (NW 7th Avenue) between NW 54th Street and NW 60th Street is designated as "Osun's Village." 5. State Road 7/US441 (NW 7th Avenue) between NW 36th Street and NW 79th Street is designated as "African Caribbean Cultural Arts Corridor." 6. (Not a state road) NW 21st Avenue between NW 20th Street and NW 23rd Street is designated as "Dennis Pastrana Avenue." Florida law states that erection of markers is contingent on the City Commission passing a resolution in support of each of the honorary designations. When the Department receives the City's approval of the designations in the form of a supporting resolution, our Public Information Office will direct the manufacture of two standard brown and white ground -mounted signs. The Department will install one sign at each limit of each designation, and will arrange for an unveiling ceremony for one sign at each designation. One of the designations, number 9 above, is not on a state road. In such a case, once the City provides a supporting resolution, the Department will manufacture the signs for installation by the City.
