HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 06-01690 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED AUGUST 9, 2006, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. 05-06-098, FROM REHRIG PACIFIC COMPANY, FOR THE PURCHASE OF 18-GALLON RECYCLING BINS CITYWIDE, TO BE PRIMARILY UTILIZED BY THE SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT AND ANY OTHER END -USER DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY, ON AN AS -NEEDED, CONTRACT BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL TWO-YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received August 9, 2006, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 05-06-098, from Rehrig Pacific Company, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for the purchase of 18-gallon recycling bins citywide, to be primarily utilized by the Solid Waste Department and by any other end -user department or agency, on an as -needed, contract basis, for an initial two-year period, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods, is accepted, subject to budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORG•4 F: RNAND CITY NEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
