A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED AUGUST 9, 2006, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS NO.
05-06-098, FROM REHRIG PACIFIC COMPANY, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
18-GALLON RECYCLING BINS CITYWIDE, TO BE PRIMARILY UTILIZED BY THE
SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT AND ANY OTHER END -USER DEPARTMENT OR
AGENCY, ON AN AS -NEEDED, CONTRACT BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL TWO-YEAR
PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL
ONE-YEAR PERIODS, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF
NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received August 9, 2006, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 05-06-098, from
Rehrig Pacific Company, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for the purchase of 18-gallon
recycling bins citywide, to be primarily utilized by the Solid Waste Department and by any other
end -user department or agency, on an as -needed, contract basis, for an initial two-year period, with
the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods, is accepted, subject to budgetary
approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
