According to the National Campaign for Hearing Health, the relationship between
decibel level and safe exposure for working time is more stable at lower decibel levels.
The higher the decibel level, the more the workers are at a health risk. Purchasing the
generators at the lowest possible noise level will allow the users to perform their
emergency operations for longer periods of time with decreased harm. Along with
possible health risks, working with unnecessary noise can Impede vital communication
between workers as welt as exhaust the anxiety of nearby residents in already
complicated and uncomfortable emergency situations.
