Purpose of Item: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to accept a grant from Miami -Dade County Office of ADA Coordination in the amount of $53,934.46 and further appropriating, allocating and establishing a new Special Revenue Fund entitled "City of Miami Programs For Persons with Disabilities Afterschool Program" for the purpose of funding new daily after -school programs for children with disabilities at the Sandra DeLucca Development Center at Kinloch Park. i Background Information: he Department of Parks and Recreation has applied and obtained a grant from the Miami -Dade County Office of ADA in the amount of $53,934.46 to assist in the funding of new after -school irograms for children with disabilities. This Resolution appropriates and establishes a new Special Revenue Fund for said purpose and further authorizes the City Manager to execute all of the documents necessary to accept the award.
