OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF MIAMI FIRE FIGHTERS' AND POLICE OFFICERS' RETIREMENT TRUST FUND ("FIPO RETIREMENT TRUST FUND") FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2006, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2007, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,907,082, EXCLUDING NORMAL COST, TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FIPO RETIREMENT TRUST FUND. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10002 was adopted by the City Commission on June 13, 1985, authorizing a Board of Trustees to administer the City of Miami Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Retirement Trust Fund ("FIPO Retirement Trust Fund"); and WHEREAS, a budget is required to properly administer the FIPO Trust Fund; and WHEREAS, the budget of the FIPO Trust Fund for Fiscal Year 2006 - 2007 to operate has been reviewed by the Board of Trustees of the FIPO Trust Fund and found to be acceptable; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section. Section 2, The Annual Budget of the FIPO Trust Fund for Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2006, and ending September 30, 2007, attached and incorporated, in the amount of $1,907,082, excluding normal cost, to provide for the operation of the FIPO Trust Fund, is approved and adopted. Section 3.
