Final Action 4ate:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI C1TY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENTS),
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL 8UD CT OF THE MIAMI SPORT'S
AND EXHIBITION AUTHORITY, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $240,800, TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATIONS AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE AUTHORITY, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
OCTOBER 1, 2,006 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2007.
WHEREAS, the Miami Sports & Exhibition Authority MSEA") was created in 19S3, pursUaritto
Florida Statute 212.057,.as an independent and autonomous agency and instrumentally of -the City of
Miami to promote sports, conventions and exhibitions with the authority to exercise any power usually
possessed by privatecorporations performing similar functions that are not in conflict with the Florida
constitution or law; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.11020 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, provides that
the MSEA, shall submit its annual budget for the ,operations -and maintenance of >the Authority to the
City Commission for approval; and
WHEREAS, the budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 for MSEA has been reviewed and approved by
the MSEA board of directors;
NOW, TIiERE°FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF TF4E CITY OF AMAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Therecitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by referenoe and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Annual Budget of the MSEA, attached and incorporated, in the amount of

Section 3. This Resolution shall .become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
