A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, BY
A FOUR -FIFTHS (4/S71") AFFIRMATIVE VOTE,
RATIFYING, APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE CITY
MANAGER'S FINDING OF AN EMERGENCY, WAIVING
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED
BIDDING PROCEDURES, AND AUTHORIZING THE
LEASING OF TWO 24' X 60' MODULAR TRAILERS
FROM GE CAPITAL MODULAR SPACE, FOR A PERIOD
OF THIRTY-SIX MONTHS, FOR TEMPORARY FIRE
STATIONS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE -RESCUE
FROM GE CAPITAL 4 ODULAR SPACE, FOR A PERIOD
OF 36 MONTHS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$ 6 4 , 713 FOR EACH TRAILER, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $129,421; AUTHORI•ZNG THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH GGE
CAPITAL MODULAR SPACE FOR SAID PURPOSE;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 313306, ACCOUNT CODE NO.
289307.6.630, FUNDED BY THE HOMELAND
DEFENSE/NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT BONDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. By a four -fifths (4/5`h') affirmative vote,
the City Manager's finding of •an emergency, waiving the
requirements for competitive sealed bidding procedures and
authorizing the leasing of two 24 X S0' modular trailers for use

es temporary fire stations, for the Department 4of Fire -Rescue,
from GE Capital Modular Space, for a period ”of 36 months, in an
amount not to exceed $64,713 for each trailer, in a total
contract amount not to exceed $129,426 is ratified, approved and
confirmed, with funds allocated from Capital Improvement project
No. 313306, Account Code No. 289307.6.630, funded by the Homeland
Defense/Neighborhood Improvement bonds.
Section 2.
The City Manager is .authorized.V to execute
an Agreement, in a form .acceptable to the City Attorney,
Capital Modular Spaoe, for said purpose.

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption and signature of the '.ayor.'
The herein _authorization is further subject to conplianoe with,
all requirements that may he imposed by the City Attorney,
including but not limited to these prescribed by applicable City
Charter and Code provisions.
If the Mayor does not sign, this Resolution, it shall become
effective at the end of ten calendar days from the .dace it vas
passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the
City Commieeion.
