NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida
on September 12, 2006 at 9:00 am in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall,
3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the
requirements of obtaining sealed competitive bids for the purchase of two (2)
trailers for Fire Stations 13 ,& 14 from GE Capital Modular Space, located at
N.W. 72nd Ave, Miami, fl 33166, for the purpose of housing personnel during the
process of building said fire Stations at the cost of purchasing said trailers in the
amount of $134, 912.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a product who feel that they might
be able to satisfy the City's requirement for this item may contact Assistant Chief
Allen Joyce, City of Miami, Department of fire -Rescue, (30'5) 416-1610.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented at
this meeting and are invited to express their views. Should any person desire to appeal
any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this
meeting, that person shallensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made,
including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based '('F.S.
286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needingspecial
acoomrnodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk at (305) 250-5360 (Voice) no later than two (2) business days prior to the
proceeding or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days priortoihe
proceeding.
