AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF1185,000, FROM THE CITY
OF MIAMI REVOLVING LOAN ACCOUNT; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS, TO THE ALTERNATIVE
PROGRAMS, iNC. ("ALTERNATIVE") FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES AttD IMPROVEMENT
ACTIVITIES, AS SPECIFIED IN "ATTACHMENT A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE
I ATTACHED FORM, WITH SAID AGENCY FOR SAID PURPOSE.
Background information:
Alternative provides legal service assistance. and programs ,as an alternative to incarceration to low
to moderate youth in the City of Miami area
Due to the 2005 Hurricane season, The Alternative Programs, Inc. facility located at 151 NW,60
Street, Miami, 'Florida sustained heavy damages to the roof and windows
i Said agency' has requested assistance from the City of Miami to rehabilitate the building
Payments will be made directly 'to the contractor
