Funds are requested to conduct improvements to the pool's interior surface, the filtration system, the heating system, and the plumbing system. FDEP requires that entities requesting funds through FRDAP include a resolution certifying that the City will amend its existing CIP plan to include the project if the grant is selected for funding. This resolution covers that requirement. Background Information: The City of Miami and the Department of Parks and Recreation have established that teaching all residents to swim is a high priority in the interest of resident satisfaction and overall safety.
